This omnibus includes impressive short films such as Samir Nimr’s cult work Kufr Shuba, which is over 30 minutes long, and others that are less than 4 minutes long and have no labelling or date indication, such as the one featuring a correspondent who announces that he has just returned to Japan from Beirut, speaking in English while being interviewed on the pavement by another journalist and stating that he can hardly wait for the docile support of the Democratic Socialist Party, Ikko Kasuga and others for the Palestinian resistance. On the other hand, there are other very orderly short films, such as the one on the Israeli occupation of Kuneitra. According to the voice-over in the short film, the Israelis systematically destroyed the village with dynamite and machinery. Mrs Widad Nassif, a refugee from 1948, is interviewed and explains to a British journalist how they razed everything to the ground, including a Protestant church. Yuzo Itagaki of Tokyo University details how many martyrs were expelled from Palestine by the Israeli offensive, as well as the Palestinians who have suffered from living in Israeli-occupied territory, especially since the 1967 war in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, not to mention the Zionists’ policy of expelling Palestinians since before the formation of the State of Israel in 1948. Another short film specifically addresses Plot 9 and the battle or conflict of Land Day. The Spanish interviewee shows the mountainous area of ‘Clear Jessie’ on the horizon, which during the British Mandate was supposedly occupied for military testing but was actually covering up a settlement called ‘Nahar Salomon’. Another video recalls the 1973 war and the cutting off of fuel supplies by Arab countries, while the West turned a blind eye and neither the United States nor Israel intervened, causing an energy crisis.
