There are scenes that would send shivers down the spine of even the most hardened individual. Fortunately, Neeson has moved away from films in which he plays a former veteran who kills everyone and saves the day. He has very wisely opted for realistic, life-or-death stories—not overly exaggerated, but not quite fantasy either—in which any viewer could easily find themselves involved, whether dying for an unjust cause, like Evan Myers, or being in the wrong place at the wrong time, like the old driver Spike. Mike, who only wanted to fulfil his filial duty to his late brother by taking his ashes to Everest, never even dreamed of the hurricane he would find himself in.

You can’t expect a complex plot from an action film. Its strength lies in the versatility of the surprises that hook the viewer into the narrative thread, as I mentioned above, with enough nervous tension to give you cramps, for example, in the scene where the bus descends with the crane cable down a hellish slope with ice and curves that are caressed by the clouds due to the unexpected height. Some seek to please a brother who lives on in their memory, others seek justice and lose their lives, and still others have to think fast and move according to the ebb and flow of the tide, without opposing it, flowing as the character eloquently says.

The plot is simple: Rudra Yash has planned the largest and most ambitious dam in Nepal and doesn’t care if he crushes Ganesh’s family. Ganesh, Vijay’s son, is about to be kidnapped when Mike and his beautiful guide Dhani intervene and become involved in corruption involving the police and locals who want to kill the Hindu residents who refuse to leave their land in the hands of opportunistic companies. The young Starr loses her father and must learn to defend herself thanks to Dhani and her shooting skills. Good action. Recommended, this genre: action, has an easy task of entertaining with its style, but with metaphysical or philosophical depth not so much, and here you can find it. Little did they know how hard it was for Mike to scatter Gurty’s ashes, and for Vijay to defend his homeland.
